Life Gets Busy Sometimes

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted to this blog. many things have occurred in my life that has detoured me away from crochet. But, as I think about how people cope and deal with the stresses in life I have started crocheting again.
Good Morning Starshine! Recently Nyla and I have been enjoying a very entertaining Korean Drama called "Let's Eat". The show can be found on tvN in Korea. However, we have been watching it on www.viki.com. Of course I am member of viki and have been for some time.

While recently watching our show we started joking about how Goo Dae Young (Yoon Doo Joon) portrays a gourmet who has a knack for talking about the delicious foods that he eats. He even has a food blog where he takes pictures of the empty plates after he eats them. This is my empty plate picture of the PF Changs Honey Chicken. Yummy!

The Cutest Little Dolls

Hi once again.  I have been a bit occupied lately with keeping up with my favorite Korean Drama "Can You Hear My Heart" and "The Greatest Love".  But I have returned once again working on another crochet pattern for amigurumi dolls.  The latest design comes from http://kandjdolls.blogspot.com/.

This doll is so cute!  She comes from a series called Little and Cute Amigurumi: Little Girls Crochet pattern.  I also bought the crochet babies patterns.  I will be trying one of them next.

Happy Crocheting!

Crochet Bed Dolls

These are my two first attempts at creating bed dolls.  Bed dolls are known for their antebellum skirts and romantic ruffles.  These "pillow dolls" add a little extra to your bedroom design.  Usually these dolls are from 13 to 14 inches tall.  I like them because they are made from simple crochet stitches.

My things to do list today include:
1. amigurumi eyes and mouths
2. looking for my receipts for Michael's and JoAnn's.

Happy Crocheting!

Things to do

I woke up bright and early this morning to work on a new pattern and I realized that I was out of my candy.  Now I can't concentrate on my patterns with no candy! Of course my favorite is the wintergreen cert. Oh they are so addictive.  So, here is my list of things to do:
1. Finish doll hair.
2. Work on amigurumi eyes
3. Write down bunny pattern

Can I do it all in one day? Well I'll try.

My first blog!!!!!

I am so excited! this is my very first blog!  When I finished with school this year, I was a bit worried about what to do with all of my time.  As usual, I ventured into my craft room to fish out something that I started but never finished.  To my surprise, I found bags of treasures that were actually finished.  After dusting them off and sooking at them, several hours and six Dr.Peppers later I realized that I had a pretty good collection of dolls and amigurmi that I had made over the years.

Therefore, I have decided to share my world of treasures with you.
This is one of my first dolls that I created.  This doll is from my Southern Belle Collection.
